Just Ripe For You!!!!!

Hello everyone: I have a very delicious card to share with you today created for the new SHOPPING OUR STASH challenge, the theme is "YOU ARE SO SWEET" so, lets get our yummy and sweet stamps of cakes, ice cream, fruit, candy, cupcakes, etc. and join my teammates and I in our gallery.  Here is my card that I hope will inspire you to play along.

This image is from a retired Stampin' Up! set called "Market Fresh", one of my favorite fruit sets ever, love all the images. I stamped the strawberries onto a die cut piece of water color paper with Stazon black ink, colored it using some SU markers and Sakura Koi water colors, the pattern paper is from a discontinued line from Lili of the Valley.

Here is a picture of the finished inside of my card.

Both sentiment and image are from the set.
I hope you get some time to come and join my teammates and I in the SHOPPING OUR STASH gallery.
Thank you for stopping by, I always read every single comment you so kindly leave on my posts, I want you to know I appreciate them more than words can express.
Until next time, happy stamping.

FRAMED!!!!!

Hello everyone: The other day I went to my local craft store just to kind of browse and see what was on sale, I always carry my 40% off coupon just in case I find something I might "need". One other thing I do is to go check the bargain section where, more often than not, I find really fun and useful stuff.
This time was not different, found a bag of metal frames, 30 total, squares and circles plus the contraption to press them on whatever image you decide to frame, for $5.00 so, here is a card I made with them, I will link it to a few challenges at the end of this post.

All of this flower images are from Power Poppy sets. From left to right, Countryside BouquetOrchids Rock and Azalea. I stamped the partial images onto 2"x2" squares of water color paper with Stazon black ink and colored them with some of my Sakura Koi water colors and an empty Wink of Stella brush that I filled with water. Once the brush is empty of the liquid, there is a lot of the glittery stuff left behind so, I just opened by removing the black top from the reservoir, filling it with water and putting the top back on, easy peasy, then you have a perfect water color brush that dispenses beautiful shimmer, all you need to do is shake it.
The pattern paper is from a discontinued line from Lili of the Valley, the lace from my stash.
The sentiment is from a retired Flourishes set called "Tulips for Friends".
